Dr. Margaret Saccomano
Dr. Saccomano was born and raised in Connecticut. She received a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude and with Honors from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She then moved to Denver and attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It was at this point in her training that she realized her passion for Women’s Health and advocacy. She went on to complete her postgraduate training at the University of Minnesota. During the final year of her residency she functioned as one of the Administrative Chief Residents.
As a provider, she values the balance between patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. Dr. Saccomano emphasizes shared decision making and empowers her patients to take an active role in their own healthcare. She provides each patient with opportunities for open communication, education and patient advocacy. Her clinical interests include contraceptive management and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. However, Dr. Saccomano also provides a full range of services in obstetrics and gynecology.
While she is originally a native of the East Coast, Dr. Saccomano is very excited to call Colorado her now and forever home. In her free time she enjoys cooking, yoga, horseback riding and hiking in the mountains with her Corgi, Butters.
